C.A.S.E. a Card Blog Hop

Welcome to the

Remember the old kids game, Telephone?  You know the one where a secret is told to the first person in line and then they tell what they think they heard to the next person and they tell to the next person and so on and so on.  At the end of the line, the person says what they heard and the first person tells what they originally said and laughter erupts because the two things are nothing alike.

Well today's hop plays that game, but with card making instead of secrets.

This hop is un-like any you've probably ever been to.

We took one card created by Theresa  from ScrapsByGracie and sent it to the next blogger who then C.A.S.E.d the card (copy and steal everything) and sent her card to the next blogger who C.A.S.E.d it and sent her card to the next blogger.  You get the idea.

When you are done hopping you'll see how different or maybe how similar the last card is to the first.

So let's get hopping.

You should have arrived here from Anna Lentz Carpenter.  If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, click on the blog logo above to be taken to Theresa's blog.

Here's the card I received from Anna:

And here's my C.A.S.E. card:

The gate on the front of my card actually came off of another card my mom gave me.  It was one my mom and dad had gotten in the mail at some point, and she was cleaning out her cabinets and thought i might be able to use them in my crafting. I used the bee4me set from The {Stamps} of Life for the bee images and sentiments.  Now it's on to the next stop!

Don't forget to follow and comment on each of the blogs to be entered into the prize drawing.  Theresa is giving away a great goodie box filled with card making supplies.  Winner will be posted on Theresa's blog on Wednesday and the winner will have 7 days to claim their prize.

Your next stop is Debbie Bonczek.

Here is the full line up in case you get lost along the way:

Hip, Hip, Hooray! It's To Die for Wednesday!

Hi, everyone!  It's To Die for Wednesday at Timeless Twine!  This month, we're using twine from the Sorbet Collection, and I chose to use Razzleberry Sorbet.  I think this is one of my favorite twine colors!

The party hat originally had cut-outs that I thought needed something, so I decided to wind my twine in the circles and half-circles for some added color.

Supplies Used
Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic 6x6 petite paper pack
Ink It Up! turquoise stamp pad
Sticky Doos foam adhesive squares

It's planNERD Sunday!

Hi, everyone!  It's time for my next installment of planNERD Sunday at Timeless Twine!  Today I'm going to share with you my April cover and month-at-a-glance pages, as well as my pages for this week, and I will include links to all of the Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine supplies at the end of my post.

I started out this month by edging my monthly divider with some Key Lime Sorbet twine from Timeless Twine, outlining the Mason jar with the same twine, and adding some sequins to the jar, flowers, and the dot on the 'i.'

For my month-at-a-glance page, I used planNERD and *NEW* Church Plans stamp sets to include things I already knew were going on this month.  I really LOVE the new Church Plans set!  There are so many great images and words to choose from.

I decided to go with a travel theme for this week and added some washi tape to the bottom of each page and a travel-themed washi tape across one of the dividers (to cover up labels I didn't want).  I added the "Hydrate" stamp from the planNERD set on each day, as I'm REALLY trying to lose weight and keep up with my water intake.  Then, I added small hearts (also from the planNERD set) I could check off for a to-do list and any other extras going on.  I included the "Project" stamp from the planNERD 2 set on Sunday, so I made sure I would check things off for my blog post when they're finished, then finished up the week by including some "Happy Anniversary" and love stamps from the Happy Days and Oh,Snap! stamp sets, since Wednesday is my tenth wedding anniversary.

Tag It with Flowers!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!  It's Tag It Tuesday at Timeless Twine, and this month is all about spring and the Sorbet Collection of twine, so I decided to make some cute flower tags.

I cut the flowers using my Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More Cricut cartridge.  The small flowers are cut at 3", the large pink and green flowers are cut at 4", and the large blue flower is cut at 3 1/2".  I added adhesive around the edges, then simply wound the twine around four times on the larger flowers and three times on the smaller ones.  I stamped the flower in the center of each one with an image from the "Oh, Snap!" set from Bella Creationz, then added glitter and Stickles (in Fruit Punch and Lime Green) for something extra.  I'm also entering these in PaperCrafter'sCorner.com's Magazine Mondays Week 94 challenge.  My inspiration for these from the magazine inspiration is that planting flowers is part of sprucing up for spring!

Stick It Down April reveal

Happy April Fool's Day, everyone!  If someone's played a trick on you today, I hope it was all in fun and that you took it in stride.  My husband and I don't usually play tricks on each other on April Fool's Day, so nothing major to worry about in our house. :-)

It's also time for the April sketch reveals at Stick It Down!  Here is the card sketch for this month:

I rotated the sketch to use it for a horizontal card and decided on a Christmas card.  If you're a regular visitor to my blog, you've probably seen a few Christmas cards lately.  Last year I had Christmas cards made to send out to most of my Christmas list but failed MISERABLY on getting that done, I think mainly because I was going to have to make MORE cards and just didn't find the time.  I have vowed to have MORE than enough Christmas cards made for THIS year, so I'm trying to get a couple done each month.  I thought this sketch lent itself quite well to a Christmas card.

Supplies Used

I hope you'll play along with one of our sketches this month!  Remember, you have the entire month to play along at Stick It Down, so be sure to hop over there and link up your project.  We can't WAIT to see what you create with our sketches!  Thanks for stopping by, and happy scrapping!
