Lasting Memories March Challenge

I haven't been in the layout challenge game (on blogs, anyway) for a LOOOOONG time, so I thought I'd jump back in every now and then!  I was on the Design Team at Lasting Memories back in 2011, so I thought I'd start there.  Their first challenge for March was Mix and Match Patterned Paper, so I thought this layout fit the theme perfectly:

When I saw the Magazine Mondays Challenge for Week 161 at PaperCrafter's Corner, I knew I HAD to enter!  Here's the inspiration for the challenge:
Papercrafting Challenge: Magazine Mondays - Week 161 Inspiration Piece (image)
I used this sketch, which is the September Sketch Challenge in the Yahoo group Scrappin' 'n' Chattin':
I think the sketch is originally from PageMaps, but it's one I've had saved for quite a while.  Here's my take on the sketch and entry for the challenge:

I had the opportunity to visit Munich--just overnight--in 2005, so I knew I had the perfect picture for this challenge.

Baklava

I'm late again!  This layout was created for the LOAD Challenge for Day 7, but it did make it into that challenge on time.

The prompt for Day 7 was food, and it was suggested to find a photo that supports the story, especially if you don't have a photo of the exact moment.  I couldn't find a photo of the best baklava I've ever had, but I did have this photo.  My journaling explains:

I used the Team A Week 1 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy, which I rotated

and will be entering my layout there.

We hope you enjoyed our projects with the new Valentine's Day digis this week!  Our new challenge at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is Valentine cards!  Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish, and the prize is three images of the winner's choice from the Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More Store.

The Design Team members were provided with an image from the Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More Store for our projects.  I used a combination of some of the new Valentine's Day digis in my project:  "My Valentine Boy Bear," "My Valentine Girl Bear," and "Bunch of Balloons."

I used this sketch from the 52 Week Card Challenge Week #4 in the Scrappin' 'n' Chattin' Yahoo group:

As you can see, I turned my card base horizontal but still used the sketch in its original format.

NEW CHRISTMAS AND WINTER DIGITAL STAMPS IN THE ROBYN'S FETISH DIGITAL STAMPS AND MORE STORE--NOVEMBER 9, 2015

Happy Monday, everyone!  Today is Reveal day for the new Christmas and Winter digital stamps in the Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More store!  Each Design Team member was given two of the new digis to use on our projects for Reveal Day.

First, I used "Snow Cabin" to create this shaped card:

After printing my image and cutting it out, I colored it with colored pencils, added some glitter and Stickles, then adhered it to a card base a little off-set so the side of the cabin would be on the folded edge of the card.  I then fussy cut around the cabin so it would be a shaped card!

Supplies Used
~Colored pencils
~Pink & Main Christmas Quotes sentiment
~Ranger Archival Ink Designer Series:  Wendy Vecchi in Red Geranium
~Stickles in Crystal, Green, Purple, Spiced Marmalade, Star Dust, and Xmas Red
~Wink of Stella Glitter Clear brush pen

Second, I used "Snow Angel" to create this tag:

I left the back blank so it could easily be used as a gift tag or tag on a plate of yummy holiday goodies!

Supplies Used
~Colored pencils

Be sure to hop over to the Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More Store to check out all the new Christmas and Winter digis and to the Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog to see all of the Design Team's projects with these great new images!  There's also a sale going on until January 15, so be sure you get in on that!

 Happy scrapping, everyone!

planNERD Sunday with my new Color Crush!

Happy Father's Day!  It's planNERD Sunday at Timeless Twine, and today I'm going to share a few pages of my new Color Crush planner with you.  I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase one of these from someone who decided it wasn't for them, but I'm still trying to get used to the smaller size!  I've always used the larger DayTimer 5x8 size, so this one is a little different for me.

I've decided to share with you today both my monthly page spread for June and this past week's pages.
