Halloween Words

Having two boys, I can ALWAYS use more Halloween cards (even if my oldest IS 17!), so I decided to make a quick and easy Halloween card.

I used cardstock, one stamp, embossing powder, and heat embossing, so I think this card probably took me all of five minutes to make.  I might still add a piece of Halloween ribbon across the top, but I quite like the simplicity of it.

THE ROBYN'S FETISH CHALLENGE #310--"HAND MADE FLOWERS"--3 APRIL 2016

Thanks for all the lovely projects that were submitted for our "Add a Doily" theme at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog last week!  They were beautiful!!!  Our new challenge at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog is to use hand made flowers on your project.  Our sponsor this week is Ppinky Dolls Art, and the prize is three images of the winner's choice from the Ppinky Dolls Art store.

The Robyn's Fetish DT was graciously provided with an image each to work with from Ppinky Dolls Art; my image was "Playing with Kittens on the Tree."

I used the new April card sketch at Stick It Down and will be entering my card there.

CAS Happy Birthday

I tried my hand tonight at a clean and simple birthday card.  I don't normally use a lot of butterflies on things, but I found a piece of glitter paper I'd punched a butterfly out of, so I used that as a stencil since I don't have a butterfly punch.

I found the inspiration for this on Pinterest and knew it would come together fairly quickly.  I adhered the glitter butterfly directly to my card base, then used a glue dot just on the center portion to adhere the dotted butterfly.  I bent the sides up just a bit for some added dimension.  The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark then heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

I finished off the inside with a small butterfly decorative button.

Supplies Used
Teresa Collins glitter paper
