Rainbow

I hope everyone's having a great weekend!  I'm sure you're all just as ready for everything to reopen as I am, but I know we all want to keep everyone safe as well.  I'm plugging along with work, graduate school, making sure my son gets his AMI work done, and getting a little crafting in when I can.

If you've been visiting my blog any in 2020, then you know Scrappin' 'n' Chattin' has a 52-Week Layout Challenge going  We're in Week #15 right now, and my layout below is my Week #15 layout.  It also counts as my first layout for the April Monthly Layout Challenge there of "April Showers Bring May Flowers" and for my "Wood" BINGO square at Snc.

One of the current sketches at Sketches in Thyme is Sketch #415:

Diamond

In entering challenges, I also decided to get involved at Soul Scrappers again.  For this month, they have a sketch challenge (SC142) using this sketch:

Here's my take on the sketch:

Diamond was our first cat; she just showed up on our carport one day when I was a teenager and eventually wooed her way inside.  She loved to sleep on my bed and always sat at the back door and meowed when she needed to go outside to use the bathroom.  Unfortunately, we found lying her in the neighbors yard one day, and she had passed away. 😢  She was such a wonderful kitty!

Supplies Used
     *Cat Icons
     *Element Sticker
     *Kitty Paws
     *Kitty Plaid

January 2020 Creations

Happy weekend, everyone!  Our world is living in some crazy times right now, so I hope I can brighten your day by sharing my creations.  I'm in an online scrapbook group, Scrappin' 'n' Chattin', and we recently (re)started a 52-Week Layout Challenge.  The point of the challenge is to complete one layout a week for every week of the year.  At the end of the year, you have fifty-two layouts to add to your albums!  We also have monthly layout challenges, a quarterly sketch challenge, monthly BINGO, and a monthly twenty-four hour challenge that helps us be creative.

I have to admit that I didn't get a lot of layouts done in 2019 (for the past couple of years, actually), so having the group start the 52-Week Layout Challenge again has really helped jump start my creativity again.  I thought at the end of each month that I would share everything I created in hopes that I can give others some crafty inspiration!  Here's everything I completed in January of this year:

I hope you get some inspiration from my creations!  Happy scrapping, everyone!  Thanks for stopping by!

Lasting Memories March Challenge

I haven't been in the layout challenge game (on blogs, anyway) for a LOOOOONG time, so I thought I'd jump back in every now and then!  I was on the Design Team at Lasting Memories back in 2011, so I thought I'd start there.  Their first challenge for March was Mix and Match Patterned Paper, so I thought this layout fit the theme perfectly:

Supplies Used
     *Just My Type
     *Element Sticker
     *Create Beauty
     *Makers Gonna Make
     *Element Sticker
