It's been a LOOOONG time since I entered a creative challenge of ANY kind, but I decided to go ahead and use the sketch at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and enter their August Sketch Challenge. Here's their August sketch:
Here's my take on the sketch:
The bells are wood pieces I found in my Christmas stash. Two of the bells look a little dark, but I used Stampin' Up's Shaded Spruce Classic Stamp Pad to color them green, and I used Ranger's Wendy Vecchi Designer Series Archival Ink in Red Geranium on the other one. The papers are scraps from the Echo Park Here Comes Santa Claus 6x6 Paper Pad and the Teresa Collins Santa's List 6x6 Designer Pad, and I used Recollections foam adhesive circles to pop up the sentiment.
Ashley, your card is an awesome interpretation of the sketch, so festive and fun! Thanks for sharing it with us at 52 CCT this week and I hope you keep coming back! Smiles, Kathy DT
