I participate in a Christmas in July challenge every year, so I've decided to share some of the Christmas cards I made in this year's challenge!
This is a simple flat (which we all know is hard to do!)Christmas card which could very easily be mass-produced in a pinch!

After embossing my white cardstock, I used a few different designs of washi tape to give it some color, then I adhered my ribbon and used pop-up dots on the sentiment banner.

I thought the reindeer stamp I used in the center was super-cute, but I wanted something a little different, too.  This is also a flat card, so postage won't cost any extra!  LOL!

This is just a simple layered card, but I didn't use any pop-up dots, so it lays fairly flat.

For this one, I used three different embossing folders on small pieces of white cardstock, then I tied some twine around each to represent the ribbon on a present.  Pop-up dots were used behind each to create a little dimension, yet it's still a simple card.

This was a fairly quick card to make as well.  I used a border punch on the top piece of blue cardstock and found a piece of patterned paper for the bottom piece.  It doesn't matter how wide these two pieces are, since I adhered them to the back of a piece of white cardstock.  I stamped my sentiment then added some gems for ornaments.  I finished it off by simply hand-drawing (with the aid of a ruler!) the bows and "string."
This is one of my favorite cards from this year!  I always struggle with shaker cards, and this one was no exception!  LOL!  I did enter this one in my county fair and brought home a blue ribbon for it.

The parts I struggled with the most on this card were heat embossing on the acetate (and trying to keep the acetate straight!) and then adhering the acetate to the white cardstock without it buckling.

I finished off the inside of the card with a decorative Christmasy flourish with silver embossing powder.

 Up next is Diana!
