Create A Card Blog Hop

Welcome to the Create A Card Blog Hop!

We are so happy you could join us today.  This is a one day blog hop, but don't worry; you have until Monday to stop by all the blogs and leave a comment to be entered into the drawing for the wonderful prize we have for you today.

Catherine Pooler, founder of Stamp Nation and Creativity Grows Here, has generously donated a trial membership to Stamp Nation to us to give away to those who hop along with us.

To be entered in the drawing, just comment and follow each of the blogs on the hop today.  That's it; it's just that easy!  Prizes will be drawn and announced on Theresa's blog on Wednesday, April 1.

If you started at the beginning of the hop, you should have arrived here from Alicia.  Now, on with the projects!

The card I'm sharing with you today is one I made last weekend for a birthday party for my youngest son's best friend.  He was having a construction-themed birthday party, so I turned to Pinterest to see what construction-themed cards I could recreate, and this is the finished product:

I colored the digi image with Crayola colored pencils then mounted it to white cardstock using Sticky Doos foam adhesive from The Paper Studio.  I thought it needed a little bling (even if it was for a boy!), so I added some yellow rhinestones for the front lights.  The sentiment is from the spinner2stamp set from The {Stamps} of Life, and the Twill Herringbone embossing folder is from Teresa Collins.

Please be sure to hop over to all the other wonderful blogs, too.  Here is the entire line-up:

Ashley <= YOU ARE HERE!
Pamela <= GO HERE NEXT!

Your next stop is Pamela!  Thanks for stopping by, and happy scrapping!
