Welcome to Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop! You should have gotten here from
Lori's blog. If you just happened upon my post, head over to
Lisa's blog
to get started and see everyone's great projects! This hop will take
place November 24 through December 5, and the new postings each day will
be posted by 8 am Eastern standard time. This hop will be full of
wonderful ideas and inspiration to get you well on your way of creating
all of those beautiful Christmas projects! This is an awesome way to
get a lot of your Christmas cards and scrapbook layouts finished, home
decorations completed, and maybe even be inspired to create something
using a new technique that you have never tried. There will be a new
project posted each and every day by all the wonderful amazing ladies in
this hop, and we will also have a guest designer or two for you to
visit each day.
Most of the projects I will be sharing
with you for this hop are Christmas cards I made this year during a
Christmas in July challenge.
For this card, I started by adhering my patterned paper to my card base. I cut a second piece of patterned paper a little smaller, rounded the bottom corners, and used one of my border punches across the top. The scalloped pink and red pieces across the center are stickers, as are the "ornaments." The ornament strings are hand-drawn, and the sentiment is from my stash (Sorry! I can't remember where this sentiment is from!).
