Welcome to Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop! You should have gotten here from
Lori's blog. If you just happened upon my post, head over to
Lisa's blog
to get started and see everyone's great projects! This hop will take
place November 24 through December 5, and the new postings each day will
be posted by 8 am Eastern standard time. This hop will be full of
wonderful ideas and inspiration to get you well on your way of creating
all of those beautiful Christmas projects! This is an awesome way to
get a lot of your Christmas cards and scrapbook layouts finished, home
decorations completed, and maybe even be inspired to create something
using a new technique that you have never tried. There will be a new
project posted each and every day by all the wonderful amazing ladies in
this hop, and we will also have a guest designer or two for you to
visit each day.
Most of the projects I will be sharing
with you for this hop are Christmas cards I made this year during a
Christmas in July challenge.
Today is a relatively CAS card! I chose a piece of red, white, and green Christmas ribbon and adhered that to my base. I cut smaller pieces of white card stock to layer with pop dots and stamped the Christmas tree before putting them together. I added a red rhinestone for the tree topper and stamped my sentiment on the card base before adding the layers. All done! The tree and sentiment are both from the Stampin' Up Christmas Lodge stamp set (which is one of my faves!)

Love that Christmas tree. Made such a beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteI loooove your card... I am a tree stamp lover and that one is beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteLovely card. The tree actually looks flocked based on how the stamp is. Looks pretty how you layered it with the pop dots and with the added ribbon & rhinestone.
