I purchased this at Wal-Mart, but you can get something similar at Dollar General or Dollar Tree.  Once I was done working with it, my finished product turned out like this:

I'm REALLY happy with the way the journal turned out!  Since this is a travel journal, my first entry would be the first day of a family trip!  It has to be just the right trip, though; not just any old weekend trip.  I'm waiting for that very special family vacation and will let my boys Kennedy (age 13) and Joseph (age 3) help with the entries.  That way, it will be that much more special!
