Happy Halloween, everyone! If you will be trick-or-treating with your kids this evening, I hope you have a fun, safe, and enjoyable time! It's time for another great challenge over at NettieG's! This time, we've got a recipe challenge for you--one image, two flowers, and three gems or pearls. The entire Design Team was given the same image--Emily n Mommyz Clothes--to work with for this challenge.
I used a sketch from CTMH's Wishes book as the basis for my card. All of my papers came from my stash--Karen Foster Design's Fairy Collage and Creative Imaginations' Princess Starburst. The sentiment came from a piece of Cinderella patterned paper that I got in a Disney paper pack a while back. The flowers were from my stash also, and the pearls are Snowflake from Queen and Co. I distressed the edges of my small pieces of cardstock with Tim Holtz and CTMH inks.
We're anxious to see what you can create using this week's recipe challenge. Just don't forget--it's 1 image, 2 flowers, and 3 gems or pearls. You've got two weeks to get your project linked up to the challenge blog at NettieG's. So, what are you waiting for? GET BUSY!!! Happy scrapping!

LiaStampz Challenge #6--3R's (recipe)
IT'S SATURDAY!!! I LOVE Saturdays! I get to sleep late, and I get to spend the day with my wonderful family. Today, it's time for new challenge over at LiaStampz, and it's all about the 3R's--ribbon, raised, round.
I followed a sketch in the CTMH book Wishes for this challenge. The ribbon here is obvious; the raised part of my card is the dots on the black cardstock (they're embossed), and the round should be pretty obvious, too. As you can see by my card, your card doesn't have to be round; there just has to be a round shape somewhere on your project. The image is "Candy Monkey" from LiaStampz, and the sentiment is from LiaStampz as well.
We'd love to see what you can create with this recipe challenge! You've got until November 14 to get your project linked up on the LiaStampz blog. Good luck, and happy scrapping!

Paper Cutz Challenge #115--Turning Over a New Leaf
If you're here to see my creation for the Pattie's Creations Design Challenge, please scroll down!
**************************************************************
It's time for the next Paper Cutz Challenge challenge! Our new challenge is Turning Over a New Leaf, and we'd like you to make any project for autumn using LOTS of leaves and any colors you'd like EXCEPT green or blue. Here's my card:
My background cardstock came out looking like olive green in the picture, but it's actually a kraft color, and I used an orange stamp pad to distress the edges. I used the sketch at My Time Made Easy to get started and then used leaf stickers instead of patterned paper for the right hand side. I'd never used twine before and got some a few weeks ago in a prize package, so I thought I'd try it out. LOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!! In addition to My Time Made Easy, I'm also entering this at Lollipop Crafts, Shelly's Images, and C.R.A.F.T.
We'd love to see what projects you can create with leaves! You've got until November 3 to get your project linked up at the Paper Cutz Challenge. So, what are you waiting for??? GET SCRAPPING!!!

Pattie's Creations Challenge #32--Halloween or Autumn Colors
Happy Friday, everyone!! I LOOOOOVE Fridays, and it's time for a new challenge at Pattie's Creations! Our newest challenge is asking you to create a project for Halloween or one using autumn colors.
I used a sketch from CTMH's Wishes book for this challenge; I've been wanting this book for quite a while, and I was lucky enough to find it at my LSS customer garage sale a few weeks ago for a REALLY good price! I used a purple stamp pad to ink the edges of the orange cardstock, and the other patterned papers were ones I had in my stash. I added a piece of rick-rack, and I colored the pumpkin image with my Crayola colored pencils. The sentiment is two small wood stamps I found in my stamp stash, and I used the same purple stamp pad for the sentiment.
We'd LOVE to see what you can create for us! Be sure to get your project linked up to the Pattie's Creations Design Challenge site by November 10. Good luck, and happy scrapping!

My Partner in Crafting Crime Challenge #34--Colour Palette inspiration
Happy Monday, everyone! It's time for a brand new challenge at My Partner in Crafting Crime! For this challenge, we'd like you to use the following colour palette for inspiration: white, mint, green, bright pink, light pink. You can use this photo for some extra inspiration:
We'd love to see you use at least three of these colors, and it would be REALLY awesome if you could incorporate them all! Here's my project for this challenge, along with some additional views:
This was one of my FAVORITE recent projects! Pink and green are two of my favorite colors, so this was a SUPER easy card for me. The slingback bow shoe image is from Bows and Berries, and I colored it using my Crayola colored pencils, then added a rhinestone from Queen & Co. on the bow. The sentiment and smaller shoe are from the Ellie's Day Out clear stamp set from Nikki Sivils, and I stamped them using a ColorBox mini in Razzberry. I'm also entering this in the Pals Paper Arts Challenge 116--A Sketch Challenge. This sketch just seemed to fit what I wanted perfectly, and I love the way the finished product turned out.
We can't WAIT to see what you can create with these colors! You've got until November 6 to get your project completed and linked up at the My Partner in Crafting Crime blog. Good luck, and happy scrapping!

Birthday Sundaes challenge
Nothing like a last minute entry for a challenge, right? This week's challenge at Birthday Sundaes was to create a tall or long birthday card. Here's my entry:
I used my Fruit Medley stamp set from The Rubber Cafe that I got at last spring's Scrapbook Expo, some ribbon I had in my stash, and a card sketch from the CTMH book Wishes. Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Cutz Challenge #114--In the Pink
IT'S FRIDAY! OH, YEAH!!!! I LOOOOVE Fridays!!!!! Since it's Friday, it ALSO means it's time for another challenge at the Paper Cutz Challenge! This week, we're promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so our challenge is all about PINK!
I love the combination of dark blue and pink, so I thought I'd use them for my card, which is 5x5. I picked up some pink breast cancer awareness supplies at my LSS last week, and they worked out perfect for my card. The digital image is from Kenny Kiernan; I've wanted to use it for a long time but just hadn't found the right project. I colored the image with Crayola colored pencils, then added pink rhinestone bling. I used pop dots to adhere both the striped piece of pp and the digi. The sentiment was cut from another piece of pp that was breast cancer awareness themed. I also found the pink mesh at my LSS and LOVED it!!! I also entered this into the Clearly iStamp challenge.
There are so many things that can be done with Breast Cancer Awareness Month projects! What have YOU got in store for us this week??? Be sure to get your projects linked up to the Paper Cutz Challenge blog by Thursday, October 27, and hop over to the blog now to check out the rest of the DT projects. We can't WAIT to see what you've got! Happy scrapping!

NettieG's newest challenge--Anything but a rectangle!
***For whatever reason, my NettieG's DT post didn't do its thing on Monday. Sorry it's late, but here it is!***
Well, it's Monday. Yup. Have I ever said how much I intensely dislike Mondays? There's just something about them that I've never liked, and I probably never will. My blog problems have been fixed, thanks to my WONDERFUL friend, Suzanne (Thanks, Suzy!)!!! I've still got a little bit of tweaking and moving things around to do, so please bear with me for a few more days.
For now, though, it's time to post a new challenge for NettieG's! Here's my card, using the Sydney the Snail image:

PLEASE BEAR WITH ME!!
As most of you can probably tell, I'm in the process of changing the design on my blog. Well, evidently, I screwed something up, and now I can't get the stupid gray background to go away, and I can't figure out how to center the title in my header. GRRR!!!!! Maybe I'l.l have it fixed tomorrow, so please bear with me. If you're here to see my DT challenges for the Paper Cutz Challenge and Pattie's Creations, just scroll down, and you'll find them! In the meantime, if anyone can explain to me WHAT I did wrong and HOW to fix it, please do so! I hope everyone's getting some crafty time in this weekend! OH YEAH! I almost forgot--I won the Scrappin' Jackpot in the Scrappin' 'n' Chattin' Yahoo group! I'm pretty excited about it. Well, I'd better go update my wish list!!!

Paper Cutz Challenge #113--Stars, Circles, and Diamonds, Oh My!
Happy Friday, everyone!!! It's time for another challenge at the Paper Cutz Challenge! This week it's Challenge #113--Stars, Circles, and Diamonds, Oh My!
I started with a white card base and affixed a piece of black patterned cardstock. I ran a piece of orange cardstock through my Cuttlebug using the Stars folder, then affixed that to the black cardstock. The bling words and numbers were in my stash, and I added a black cat sticker to the top. Voila!
Now, it's your turn! Create a card, layout, or project for Halloween using stars, circles, or diamonds, and any colors you'd like. We can't WAIT to see your creations! Be sure to get them linked up to the Paper Cutz Challenge site before next Thursday. Good luck, and happy scrapping!
Pattie's Creations--Design Team announcement and new challenge!
What a great way to start a Friday! Recently, I was invited to be part of the Design Team at Pattie's Creations! I am SOOOO excited!!!!!!! Pattie has some GREAT digital images, and I can't WAIT to work with the rest of the Design Team!
Our first challenge as new Design Team members is Challenge #31--Halloween! It seems like I've been making a lot of Halloween cards lately, but I really like the way they've all turned out. Pattie was gracious enough to provide the DT with the image "Witch Pattieboop with Caldron" to use on our creations.

I've been wanting to try a twisted easel card for a while, so I finally checked out a tutorial on YouTube, which you can find here. It was MUCH easier than I thought it would be! All of the papers were ones I found in my stash, and the sentiments were ones I found on my computer (which I think I downloaded quite a while ago, possibly from Papercrafts Magazine!). I colored the image with Crayola colored pencils and added some Stickles to the sentiment on the front and the inside for a little extra OOMPH!
We'd LOVE to see your Halloween creations! You can link them up at Pattie's Creations. Good luck, and happy scrapping!

My Partner in Crafting Crime Challenge #33--Inspiration Photo
Happy Columbus Day, everyone! I hope some of you have today off (like me AND my husband!) and are enjoying it. It's time for a new challenge at My Partner in Crafting Crime! For this challenge, we'd like you to use this inspiration photo:
I absolutely LOOOOVE this photo!!! It reminds me of my grandparents' farm in Arkansas where I used to spend quite a bit of time in the summer growing up. There are SO many things going on in this photo--colors, bricks on the house, the fall season . . . I could go on and on! Here's the card I came up with for this week:
I still think it needs a sentiment on the front, but I'm just not sure what. The barn and silo were in a swap I received in the Yahoo group Scrappin' 'n' Chattin' where I'm a moderator, as was the white border punch at the top. I cut out the sun and used my colored pencils and chalks to add a little extra color to it, then I adhered it to my card with a pop dot.
We hope you'll join us for this challenge! One random winner will win three digital stamps of their choice from the Bows and Berries Digital Stamps Shop. How awesome is THAT!?!?!?! You have until midnight GMT on October 23 to get your project linked up here. So, what are you waiting for??? GET CRAFTY!!!

NettieG's new challenge--FALL
Everybody ready for a new challenge at NettieG's? Our new challenge is all about FALL!!
I wanted to show the versatility of the NettieG's Christmas Window image, so I decided to use it for this challenge. I colored the image using my colored pencils, and the glitter leaves were some I found in my stash, as was the sentiment. The small pieces of patterned paper backing the image are from Bo Bunny's Forever Fall line.
Here's our challenge to you--make a Fall-themed card by using either Fall colors or a Fall image. We had some GREAT entries for our last challenge, and we'd LOVE to see more!! Be sure to get your project linked up at NettieG's by October 17. Good luck, and happy scrapping!

Ghoultide Blog Hop!
Welcome to my blog! I am so excited to be part of the Ghoultide Blog Hop! If you came from Ava's blog, then you're in the right place! If you're visiting my blog and want to start at the beginning, you'll need to visit Angela's blog. Our theme for the hop is Halloween and Fall. Things got pretty crazy for me this week, and I didn't have time to create a brand new project for the hop. Instead, I decided to highlight some recent Halloween cards I've made. (Be sure to read all the way to the end, as I've got some blog candy to give away!)
I made these two cards for DT challenges at LiaStampz. If you haven't seen her digi stamps, you really SHOULD check them out!
